Echolocation is the ability to determine locations of items in the environment by use of reflected soundwaves. In the real world, echolocation is used for navigation by dolphins, whales, and bats, among other animals. Echolaction works when the being who has this ability emmits a squeak that bounces off anoy objects around the person. The sound Echos back and the person with this ability knows that the object is there.
